Singapore American School
Intermediate School Technology Coordinator
I started my teaching career just as the first computers made their way into Australian classrooms. Since 1985 I have helped to develop computing skills in students from Kinder to Grade 12; teachers from all curriculum areas; university students; the parent community; and even a blind nun! About 20 years ago I changed from a computing studies teacher to computing support, specialising in curriculum integration. I have been lucky enough to work in schools, both in Australia and internationally, that have recognised the importance of professional development and support to provide staff with the tools, expertise, and confidence to integrate technology in meaningful ways. I am currently the Intermediate School Technology Coordinator at Singapore American School.
