Scott Riley

Singapore American School
Reading/Language Arts Teacher
Singapore
As a middle school Reading/Language Arts teacher and Literacy Coach at Singapore American School, Scott Riley spends most of his time reading, writing and learning alongside his students and colleagues. In recent years, he has been bit by the technology bug big time. Not only does he explore how it can impact his teaching, he also seeks ways in which technology can enhance a person's reading and writing life. After all, being a literate citizen in today's world has come a long way since Scott was a kid. Prior to teaching at SAS, Scott taught Language Arts, social studies and French in Prague, Jakarta, and his home state of Connecticut. A self-confessed learn-a-holic, Scott has picked up a number of passions along the way including painting, bagpiping, distance running, and beach combing with his wife and two daughters.
